I thought it was your post so I used your name several times. I was diagnosed with Lyme last week, my brain is on overload getting used to all the new meds and a Gluten Free Diet. I have a 9:00 P bedtime and as you can see I didn’t make it. I was thinking about you the last couple of days when you didn’t post. Is everything ok. Use my personal e-mail if want support and just to chat. I’m here for you.
Dear Amy, not only am I not shocked that you were shocked, but I am grateful that the shock got you well enough to so share that experience with us 🙂
All the best then, light and love, Marie
Hi Marie,
It was actually a reblog from my friend Dyan’s site proudlybipolar.wordpress.com She had the experience with the ECT and wrote about it. She is a terrific writer..you may want to check out her site!
Ah ok thanks Amy, I think I have been there before so I can find my way again 🙂

Thank you so much, Amy, for reblogging my ECT post. I felt so honored and happy that you did, and I loved your introduction as well. I’ve missed seeing your posts over the past few days (you’ve been spoiling me with them, as well as everyone else!) so I hope you are doing okay, hanging in there. It seems like it has been a very difficult time for a lot of my fellow bloggers, and I speak for myself as well. Anyway, sending you a big hug, sweet Amy – I am so happy we are connected. Hope to see another of your wonderful posts soon! Take care! xo Dyane
Hi Dyane, I am honored to have rebloged your post. I thought it was so insightful and real and that people could get a great deal out of it. Also just as a bonus your writing is terrific! I have been a little up and down lately. I am working on getting another part time job so I have been focusing on it. But I do have a few topics in mind for a post or two. It is so nice to know I have been missed! Thanks Dyane for your kind words.
You have totally been missed by us all, Amy!!!!!! You have groupies, my friend! Amyoopies!
Wow – a PT job is a big deal. I’m super-curious to know more, but perhaps you want/need to be mum about it for now. Still….if you feel like mentioning any of it in “general”, I’m all yours! 🙂

Thanks Amy, for posting an interesting story about someone who had success with ECT. I didn’t, I had a horrible time but I think it’s because I had bilateral instead of unilateral treatments. I swore I would never do it again. However, after reading this article, If I ever get to such a depressed state that nothing helps and I’m without options to save me, this article has convinced me to try the unilateral method. Thank you.
I hope you are okay. I am always glad to see what you have to share.
Hi journey upward, so glad to get your comment. I thought Dyane’s article really shared a lot of good details about ECT. It was something I once considered but was too afraid of. I have been on break for a few days but I will be posting again soon.
